Here, we encourage our academia to grab the research opportunity to maximize the potential. Currently, UTS continuously grows to be a university that excels in research by being ranked first in SINTA (Science and Technology Indexing) and on the 6th place of Nature Index in Indonesia.

The development of research in the Students Creativity Program (PKM)  at UTS is relatively increasing every year. In 2020, achievements in research and innovation will produce a wider variety of outputs. In addition, UTS also received an ideathon award related to the handling of COVID-19. Achievements in the field of research were added through the UTS internal funding grant program, resulting in the output of 113 scientific articles both indexed internationally, nationally accredited and nationally non-accredited, 40 copyrights granted, 12 books with ISBN, and 12 popular scientific articles in the media. local and national masses. Our on-campus research capabilities are enhanced through UTS Laboratory work, active research links with industry, and a wide range of global collaborations. In this case, UTS Intellectual Property Center serves as the important partner in order to own the copyright for the research and publications.
